Live Lobby · version 2026-10-03
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a contract between you and Simplified Security Solutions LLC ("Live Lobby", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the Live Lobby service at https://staging.livelobby.io, the desks it provides, the desktop edition, and everything connected to them (the "Service"). By creating an account, by using the Service, or by clicking to accept, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy, which are part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Live Lobby is a control room for live shows with guests: a queue, a green room, a stage, an overlay for streaming software, and connections to third-party platforms such as Twitch. We provide the tools. You provide the show. We are not the publisher, producer, host or editor of anything that happens on a desk, and we do not review shows before or while they are broadcast.
2. Who may use it
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, to host, to moderate, or to appear as a guest. The Service is for adult conversation and is not directed at children. If we learn that a person under 18 has an account or has appeared on a desk, we will remove them.
- You must give accurate account information and keep it current, and keep your password and two-factor codes to yourself. Everything done through your account is your responsibility until you tell us it was compromised.
- You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of Georgia, the United States, or the place you are in.
3. Your content, and what you allow us to do with it
"Content" means everything that passes through the Service on your desk: video, audio, chat, names, images, text, and the recordings of them. You own your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to receive, transmit, store, copy, record, process, display and distribute your Content, and the Content of your guests, only as needed to operate the Service, to keep the records described in the Privacy Policy, to moderate, to comply with law, and to defend ourselves. This licence ends when the Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies we are required or permitted to keep.
You are responsible for all Content on your desk, including what your guests and moderators do, and you promise that you have every right and permission needed for it: for the people who appear, for anything you play or show, and for any recording you make of it. You are responsible for telling your guests, in the places you promote the show, that it is recorded. The Service tells them again before their camera comes on.
4. Conduct
The Acceptable Use Policy lists what is not allowed. In short: nothing illegal, no threats, no harassment, no sexual content involving minors, no trafficking, no doxxing, no incitement, no fraud, no interference with the Service. Breaking it is a breach of these Terms.
5. Recording, retention and disclosure
- Shows on Live Lobby media servers may be recorded - each participant's camera and microphone, not the chat - and the recording, the audit trail of the show, and the consents given are kept for up to 2 days, longer under a legal hold or where the law requires, or in a report, as the Privacy Policy describes.
- Recordings may be reviewed by the desk's owner and crew, by us for moderation, safety and support, and may be disclosed to law enforcement or a court as described in the Law Enforcement Guidelines. We may disclose Content and account information without notice where we believe in good faith that someone is in danger, that a crime is being committed, or that the law requires it.
- Where the video goes between you and your guests directly (peer to peer), we have no copy and cannot produce one.
6. Moderation, suspension and termination
We may remove Content, suspend a desk, or close an account, with or without notice, if we believe the Acceptable Use Policy or these Terms have been broken, if we receive a valid legal demand, if an account is unpaid, or if the Service is at risk. We are not required to do any of these things, and not doing so in one case does not waive our right to do so in another. You may close your account at any time from your Account page; recordings and records already kept are handled as the Privacy Policy describes.
7. Reporting
Anyone can report Content or a person to abuse@livelobby.io. Reports of child sexual abuse material, of trafficking, or of a credible threat to a person's safety are handled first, and we cooperate with law enforcement on them.
8. Fees
Paid plans are billed in advance by subscription through our payment provider, monthly or yearly as you choose at checkout, and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Before a yearly plan renews we email you a reminder, at least 30 days ahead. You may cancel at any time from your Account page; the desks run until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is charged. You can switch between plans, and between monthly and yearly, from the same page.
Fees are not refunded for partial periods, with one exception: a yearly payment, the first or a renewal, is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of it by writing to support@livelobby.io, and the plan then ends. Refunds the law requires are given in any case. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies at your next renewal.
9. Third-party services
Twitch, YouTube, X, Google, Stripe, Cloudflare, VDO.Ninja and any streaming software you use are independent services with their own terms. Connecting them to Live Lobby is your choice and subject to their terms; we are not responsible for what they do.
10. Our property
The Service, its software, design and name belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you no right to them beyond using the Service as they allow. The desktop edition is licensed under its own Licence Agreement.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Live broadcasting depends on networks and devices we do not control. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, guest, viewer or third party, online or offline.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SIMPLIFIED SECURITY SOLUTIONS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, HOWEVER CAUSED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS. Some places do not allow some of these limits; in those places they apply as far as they are allowed.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your show, your guests and moderators, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or any third party's rights.
14. Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction and venue. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek an injunction in any competent court to protect intellectual property or to stop a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, nothing in this section takes away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in its courts.
15. Changes
We may change these Terms. When we do, the version date at the top changes, and you will be asked to accept the new Terms at your next sign-in. Continuing to use the Service after that is acceptance.
16. General
These Terms, with the policies they include, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part of them is unenforceable, the rest stands. You may not assign them; we may assign them to a successor. Notices to us go to support@livelobby.io; notices to you go to the email on your account.
YouTube
Live Lobby uses YouTube API Services to connect a desk to a YouTube channel. By connecting a YouTube channel to Live Lobby, or by using any feature of the Service that works with YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. What Google does with your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy; what we do with it is in the YouTube section of our Privacy Policy.
A connected desk acts on your channel at your direction and your crew's: it reads your broadcast's live chat, posts to it, and times out, bans or deletes. Those actions are yours, and the Acceptable Use Policy and YouTube's own rules apply to them. You may disconnect at any time from your desk page or the Desktop page, or revoke Live Lobby's access from your Google account at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
X
Live Lobby works with X (formerly Twitter) through X's developer platform. By connecting an X account to Live Lobby, or by signing in with X on a join page, you also agree to X's Terms of Service. What X does with your information is in X's Privacy Policy; what we do with it is in the X section of our Privacy Policy.
A connected desk acts on your X account at your direction and your crew's: it reads your broadcast's live chat and posts that @mention your account, and sends chat messages, replies to posts that mentioned you, deletes chat messages and times people out. Those actions are yours, and the Acceptable Use Policy and X's own rules apply to them. Every request to X is made by us on your desk's behalf, within daily limits we set for each desk, and we may pause X for any desk, or for everyone, at any time. When your show puts a post or a chat message from X on screen, show it as X requires: the author's name, @handle and picture, X's logo beside it for as long as it is shown, its full text unaltered, and when it was posted. You may disconnect X at any time from your desk page, or revoke Live Lobby's access on X at x.com/settings/connected_apps.
